Brent Atkinson is the Project Billing & Accounts Receivable Administrator at Board & Vellum, an architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture firm in Seattle, Washington.

Brent Atkinson

Business Administrator

Brent is an accounting professional with a passion for storytelling in all its forms. In his role as Business Administrator, Brent enjoys exploring the stories and unraveling the mysteries of each of Board & Vellum’s projects.

In addition to business administration, Brent has worked in a wide range of industries and roles, from minor league baseball to sustainable transportation to nuclear waste immobilization. These experiences have given him a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and solve complex problems others might overlook.

Brent holds a Master of Education in Sport Management from Washington State University and a Master of Fine Arts in writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts.

When he’s not working from his home office, you can find him taking his four-year-old Texas Heeler on a hike, having a bourbon with friends, or curling up with a good book (Annie Proulx is his favorite author). Brent is also an author himself, with stories and articles published in Wild Roof Journal, Tumbleweird, and Explore Washington State. He is currently working on a novel and a short story collection.
