Josh Buckley, RA
Senior Associate, Architecture
A passionate architect with nearly a decade of experience, Josh loves the intimate scale of residential architecture. He enjoys getting to know his clients so he can meet their needs in designs that exceed their expectations. Josh loves a good challenge, embracing unique perspectives, and new ways of thinking in his role as an architect focusing on single-family residences.
A love of art and math led Josh to California Polytechnic University, where he received a Bachelor of Architecture. As a student, he also studied in Copenhagen, which gave him insight into urban design, landscape architecture, and furniture design. He incorporates the context-driven approach learned there into his work today, considering the impact of a design on the end-user in projects of all sizes.
Josh has volunteered his time and skills in a pro-bono project designing a community center in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. When he isn’t at the office, Josh likes to get outdoors to spend time with his family and girlfriend, paddleboard with his border collie, Luna, work on his golf game, and go on long runs.
